Project Highlights:
Atlantic Subsurface Imaging performed Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) scanning of the Sharpe Family cemetery located in Albany, NY to aid Arch-Tech in identifying the boundaries of the cemetery. The grave site dated back to the 1800s so many of the head stones had fallen over or were missing entirely. A GPR survey of the area revealed that there were an additional two rows of graves that were unmarked. This was vital information for the end customer, who intended to build close by the cemetery. The flags in the pictures depict the centerline of the graves. One grave consists of three or four flags. The last picture depicts a typical radar signature of a grave for this site.
