Project Highlights:
Atlantic Subsurface Imaging performed Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) scanning of the Kelloggs processing plant in Lancaster, PA. Atlantic was contracted to map and confirm the drainage system of the plant. Atlantic meticulously scanned the plant, marking targets and their depths with masking tape as they went. After that, Atlantic surveyed the targets as well as the floor drains, cleanouts, and support columns. Finally, all the tape had to be removed from the floor, which created a two-pound tape ball by the end of it. The results of the survey were electronically added as another layer on Kellogg’s existing CAD drawing, and a report was created that detailed our findings.
